Retail activity has been fairly brisk on the day, with fairly good sized buying of 2- and 5-year T-notes on the day from end-users. A modest amount of the buying may relate to month-end rebalancing but largely reflects the market's increased expectation for further rate cuts from the Federal Reserve. On the day, volume is said to be running at 120% of the 5-day daily average
