Dear Tony: You need look no further than Anand's web site servers. AMD is already there and is growing in ratio of AMD nodes vs total nodes. The problem with stealth is that you only see it when you look at the out of the way places. When it becomes obvious, competitors that assume it isn't there get a rude awakening. Intel went through the same thing years ago. So did DEC, HP and Compaq (against the IBM PC). Guerilla campaigns can achieve a lot with little resources. Sure it is easier with big ad campaigns and lots of money. But, it can be done and has been done. Pete
