Hi Sharp. An interesting thing about the Pumpster

He's authored a great many tracts, articles, and scholarly papers over his career. Apparently a few "Fed Watchers" with the time and a penchant for research have found important revelations in those writings about what AG will do in a given set of circumstances.

Was scanning a whole slew of urls a few weeks ago and came across quite a revealing item that someone had dug out of his writings. Not surprisingly, AG had his eye on the center seat at the Fed many years before he was finally appointed to the job. Perhaps as long ago as when he served in the Nixon Admin he penned a piece that, among other things spoke of his intention - were he ever Fed Chairman - to use monetary policy to reverse the economies descent into the major recession occuring during the down portion of every Kondratieff Wave.

And here we are....

Yes, LT the gold stocks will be huge winners. Multi-baggers IMO. So I'm doing my best to never be entirely out of the group. But this wipsaw market (per my last post) is pervasive. Even the strongest sector isn't immune from ST volatility that can can sometimes be unnerving.

Any new positions or sales the past wk or 2? Any special situations (niche plays, restructurings, etc) you see emerging in the patch now to by year end? TIA.

We ought to see some pretty good entry opportunities in tax selling season, during the 4th qtr.

Cheers,

Iso
