Not if I do not need that performance gain. I'd rather keep that money for something else. I mean you would get your grandmother a 1.8 GHz P4, if all she does is save recipies and balance her checkbook instead of a cheap Celeron? Do you buy an extra helping of food, if you are completely stuffed with just one helping? Would you do the upgrade, if you could keep the difference, if you didn't and you would not use even 50% of the CPU power for a year? Forever?
