That's not quite right. Exodus does not in general own computers equipment. They have brick buildings with a lot of security and electric power and air conditioning and phone lines, etc.... If Davidjewelers.com was a customer of exodus, you would send your computer guy (or gal) over to the exodus building, with a truck load of computers and install them on a shelf that is reserved for you and you would operate them yourself. Exodus would merely supply electricity and air conditioning and internet access.

Thank you. That show what I knew. I assumed the hardware was owned and installed by Exodus and that the software was remotely configurated and operated by the customer.

I suppose I do not understand why most firms do not have a decent connection to the net, security and of course adequate air conditioning. This seems like a small expense.
