"Dodger bolster bullpen

Looking to shore up their bullpen, the Dodgers acquired veterans Mike Trombley and Terry Mulholland shortly before Tuesday's trading deadline. Trombley, a 34-year-old right-hander, came from Baltimore for a pair of minor leaguers -- right-hander Kris Foster and catcher Geronimo Gil. Mulholland, a 38-year-old left-hander, was picked up from Pittsburgh for right-hander Mike Fetters and minor league left-hander Adrian Burnside. "With the two acquisitions we've made, we've made our team stronger," said manager Jim Tracy. "We didn't just acquire two guys -- we did a lot of homework about their character and how they would fit in to this clubhouse. These guys are going to add to it."

here's what i observed 3 days ago (#reply-16140145) ...

"everybody on the roster, from one end to the other, seems to be contributing. (i would say an exception to this, on the pitching staff, is mike fetters. he really seems to be having more than his fair share of tough luck, so maybe it's something else. but the fact remains, i personally don't feel very confident when he comes in from the pen. hopefully this changes and he regains his old form.)"
