Hi richard surckla; Re: "There you are Web Myst. Bilow didn't know how to get out of the questions I posed so he created his little diversionary facade because in the past he has admitted to being a paid basher and has admitted to lying. And yes he does have his Team DDR staff that helps him. Not even SuperMan could do what he does."

Also: "... I and many others believe he has a staff of writers and helpers helping to prepare his posts in a speedy and well thought manner." #reply-16152115

Thanks for the compliments! You really have no idea how I eat this stuff up. Even if it is coming from a fruit cake.

The funny thing about this is that, in your heart of hearts, you really believe that what you write is the truth, and that it is obviously true, and that this should be obvious to everyone. But the really funny part is that you're convinced that you can convince other people that you're not insane.

The Rambus story is sort of self consistent, but as time has gone on, it has had to become more and more convoluted:

(1) All the predictions that RDRAM would become cheaper than DDR are gone, and now the story is that DDR is cheap because it's unwanted.

(2) All the predictions that Intel would only support RDRAM for mainstream (and even value) computers, as exemplified by the Camino and the 850 are gone, and now the story is that Intel is just introducing the 845 so that there's enough memory to supply a transition to the P4.

(3) All the predictions that Micron, Hyundai, Infineon, etc., would ramp up their production of RDRAM in order to support the new memory standard are gone, and now the story is that Rambus won't give them the rights to use RDRAM, and later starve them into submission.

(4) All the predictions that Rambus would quickly get the rest of the industry to sign for royalties, and then go after VIA, AMD, etc., for royalties on SDRAM controllers are gone, and instead the story is that Rambus is going to win on appeal.

(5) All the predictions that Rambus would quickly win in their legal confrontations in Italy and Germany are gone, and now the story is that the cases, at least, haven't seen Rambus convicted of fraud, yet.

(6) All the predictions that AMD and VIA would soon come out with RDRAM chipsets are gone, and now the story is that Intel is only pretending to support DDR some day. This in the face of every motherboard maker on the planet demonstrating 845 DDR MBs at Computex.

(7) All the predictions that Rambus would earn $25 per share in 2002, and have a stock price of $1500 in late 2001 are gone, and what's the story now? The story is that Bilow works for TeamDDR and has a "staff" to help him, LOL!, BWAHAHAHAHA!!!
