Dipy, The best time to buy stocks is when no one else is willing to go near them even with a ten foot pole! When thers is a sale at Macy's with everything marked down 50% or more, everyone rushes to buy -- eventhough Macy's 50% discount still means probably 1000% profit for the store! When there is a sale in Wall street with a doscount of 80% or more no one is willing to buy anything! Of course the 80% discount from the highs does not mean things can not go any lower. In fact they might. However in my humble view we are very close (if not very near) the bottom for the techs. You know better than things will not stay the way they are now and sooner or later (most likely sooner) things will change in a blink of an eye. The biggest risk of all is not taking one, IMHO of course! But then again a wise man once said, in a chicken and ham breakfast, the chicken is involved and the pig is committed! Whether those who are buying now are the pig or the chicken will become known in about 24 months from now! Regards,
