According to the posts just given, Globalstar gives information, which is very sensitive for share prices, to certain people. The law is that sensitive information should be given out fairly. Now we suddenly find via the back door that Globalstar tells certain groups how many subscribers there are [55,000] whereas the shareholders are kept in the dark. I can sense another lawsuit coming on.
We hear about the proposed restructuring as part of a presentation to some customers rather than to shareholders and creditors who would be interested in knowing what the plans or ideas are.
I have finally given up because of the total lack of information, the apparent abandonment by QUALCOMM of the existing company, the resignation and apparent abandonment of Globalstar Telecommunications Limited by Bernie Schwartz [presumably because of a conflict of interest in carve-up negotiations], the continuing lack of progress on restructuring, no moves to change prices per minute.
So, reluctantly, having owned Globalstar Telecommunications Ltd shares from June 1995 [which is longer than a 7 Minute Investor], I have given up and sold them for a pittance, [29c a week or so ago], which seems to be better than the prospective zero which is all they'll be worth from the indications over the past few months. I have been separated from my position. So, what does that mean Jon? The bottom?
Now, we get some good news [they seem to save up the bad news and good news until the day after I take or break a position]. If there really are 55,000 subscribers [to the end of June], that's good news. Not exactly raging good news, but it's not bad news.

Updated subscriber graph and repeated frustrated rant: =========================================================== x = 10,000 mobile handsets. - = 5,000
00Mar- 00Junx 00Sepxx 00Decxxx 01Marxxxx 01Junxxxxx- 01Sepxxxxxxxx 01Decxxxxxxxxxxxx 02Marxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx That's only 120,000 by December. Price plans haven't been touched [to speak of]. Blackstone remains disappeared in a black hole. Time dilatation seems to be a part of Globalstar [due to cosmic effects of reverse spinning Gravitons I suppose - now recently discovered they claim and called 'dark matter'].
Anyone who touches Globalstar disappears into the void.
The 120,000 assumes that there is a restructuring with GG's metaphysical certitude of antipathy to cheap minute prices by industrial-age telecom companies being swept away in a restructuring and new, improved, marketing 'plan'.
GlobalstarLP still does not see fit to publish a graph of MOU on the website! What more basic piece of information should they be making available to shareholders [and everyone]? There is an insider-trading opportunity provided by keeping that information secret, which is unwise. I still see no benefit in maintaining secrecy on MOU sales. McDonalds was happy to put their Big Mac sales out the front on their signs. C'mon Big Mac, how about giving us the data right there on a graph on the web site, updated daily? |
