You just made my point. Energy gouging and "shortages" started in early summer. When was Cheney picked as Veep and brought aboard? And why was he picked? Like picking his uncle. Why? same reason the White House is now staffed with energy executives. As for regulators, they did a piss-poor job is they were even on duty. And since the energy companies refuse to hand over any documents we may never get the evidence until they are forced to do so by a higher authority. The coverup has been underway for months now, ever since Jeffords switched. Will it be successful? We should hope and pray not. Otherwise they just got away with the biggest ripoff of all time. And could do it again if Bush/Cheney were ever to solidify power, or any successsors of theirs.
