TB, It was always believed that the American Indians had a Mongolian ancestor, but this new information does put a different twist on it. I don't know where they got the idea that scientists had believed there was only one migration across the Bering land bridge though. It has been thought, for years, that the first migration brought the people that became most of those called Indians of North, Central, and South America, and a second migration brought the Eskimos, Aleuts, and Tlingits. What surprised me, was that the Navaho are considered to be from that group.
