I was originally against the idea of banning cloning humans, but as I've learned more about it I have problems with both of the proposed uses of cloning. Cloning human embryos to generate cells for research or medical treatment would be something I am against. Cloning human embryos as a method of human reproduction would be something that I think should be legal if it were not for the fact that there is a lot of practical problems with the procedure. As I understand it it would create embryos with a much lower chance of survival then normal embryos and if they do survive they have a higher chance of future problems. I don't know exactly what these problems are or why they occur. Do you know? Tim
