Tony, TooeyLouie1.13 does NOT thump A4 1 GHz in PCMag benchmarks. The Compaq machine was tested with 96M of RAM vs. 256M on the $3,600 HP Omnibook machine that they liked. The HP A4 machine had 128M but still managed to beat the Omnibook in Business Winstone. And the Omnibook used Win2K, which is generally faster than WinME.

The HP A4 machine probably would have beat the Omnibook in battery life if it had 256M, because extra memory generally increases battery life.

The only machine with outstanding benchmarks was the PIII-M IBM Thinkpad T23, but it's (and DELL's) battery life was atrocious.for a high-end unit with only a 14" screen.

So, since you complained about Anand not testing notebook chips, which is physically impossible for him, why don't you complain about ZD Labs not testing the Athlon notebooks with 256M of RAM and Windows 2K. That is physically possible.
