I'm getting a few books that were highly recommended at the workshop, and will read them soon. Will let you know if anything truly interesting shows up. But the basic rule in this field appears to be not to believe anything more than three or, at the most, five years old. It's changing that fast, and the brain, of course, isn't as easy to study as, say, a rock formation.
Also, all the MRI stuff must be being done on people with at least one screw loose, because to do it they inject radioactive water into you. Now, no matter how safe they claim it is, what normal person not being diagnosed for some problem would let a doctor inject radioactive water into their brain just to test some theory? It's a problem, all right! |
