eichler: No offense intended with this post as I am aware you primarily trade the penny stocks where three or four cents can be a nice profit...<g> You said you were not trading the QQQ, but you are providing charts with five-minute trend lines using the COMPX as a proxy, suggesting breaks above or below would be signals to buy or sell, "trend is your friend" as it were...<g>. I highly recommend you trade this stuff "at least some" before presenting five-minute trend lines as buy sell triggers for the QQQ. Unless well adapt at making profits from three or four cent gains on a 43 dollar stock prior to paying commissions, I suggest trading five-minute trend lines as your primary day trading trigger for the QQQ (even using the NDX or COMPX as proxy) is not a good percentage bet especially during periods of price clustering when one might think it best to shift down to shorter time intervals. Take a look at your trend lines moved to the one-minute interval...
