What's all this talk about sex? Is there a problem with sex here? Not enough of it? Too much? Wrong kind? Its a marvelous invention IMO. Who thought that one up? The BIG WHO that's who. Now the BIG WHO can't be all that bad to come up with such a great concept as sex!! What? Someone saying that He may have made it but He doesn't want us to enjoy it? Well........it's not the BW that said that. I think it was the Catholics that said you can't enjoy it. At least that was my mom's perception about it and she was a DEVOUT cathaholic. Maybe that's why I renounced the religion. Now there's a religion that's BIG BUSINESS!! It controls more wealth than many countries, and it has worldwide holding in the trillions........and it's technically a cult. Sex and taxes, the two sure things in life. The Bible says a man that wants to serve in the church should have only one wife, that was because if he had more than one which was allowed in ancient biblical times, he would not have time to serve the Church. That was before the Catholic religion which was formed sometime in the third century. The Catholic's enforced the one wife rule but eventually decided to stop supporting the priests families and changed it to NO wives. So they'd have more time to serve the Church. But really it was to save the Church money. I think the whole sex is dirty syndrome can be laid right at the Catholics feet. God....oops...I mean the BW laid out guidelines for every aspect of life in the Levitical Laws. One thing he did not put a restriction on was enjoying sex. He did say who you could or could not have sex with.....no animals....not your children.....not your neighbor's wife...sounds sensible to me. We seem hung on the one about no sex before marriage though. Such a smart guy probably has a good reason for that one. And I think that it was to protect men and women from the pitfalls of misguided sexual relations that create damaging problems for the people involved that are sometimes difficult to see but play out in the peoples futures, not to be a killjoy. One thing He never restricted was the number of wives a man could have...I'm NOT a Mormon. I'm just saying what the Bible says. If BW had a problem with more than one wife He would have said so in the Laws. Everything else is in there. And BW's Son never changed that. The Apostle Paul just said if you intend to serve the Church you should have only one wife and the issue there was about TIME, not anything wrong with more than one wife. Paul was concerned that a man with more than one wife would have no time to serve the Church. But the Catholics ran with that statement by Paul and changed the world. Now it's a custom enforced by laws to have only one wife. Soooooooo........hypothesis........men cheat because they are not allowed to have more than one wife.
