The gov't is going to have print up some more money to cover those big rubber rebate checks they're sending out. The coffers aint as full as we were lead to believe. Since borrowing from the future (ie soc sec fund) won't be quite so politically correct, the only option remaining is borrowing/printing to cover the rebate. The good news is that the tax refund is a paltry amount of money, so, the added debt amounts to a spit in the ocean in the grand scheme of things. The bad news is that the "surplus" pulled a "vanishing act" the likes of which haven't been seen since Condits girlfriends disappearence.
