[ DAM - chat ] The only vendor that gives a DAM, I think is Netspeed. I didn't know Siemens was working on a DAM device. Is anyone aware of other vendors that are working on these DAM devices which allow multilpe remote customers to share a single central office modem? I did see this at the AMTX site... 1.Modem shelf with 12 Overture 8 modems, a Management Interface Card (or Management Interface Extender), two 6:1 Concentrator or Video Access cards. What is a 6:1 Concentrator? Is this a DAM device that allows sharing of a single CO modem?... until later.
