I appreciated the warning labels on toys that told me the parts were too small for children under 5.

I have not doubt that that is helpful, particularly where there are lots of parts in a box or intrnal to the device where you can't see them. OTOH, it shouldn't be necessary to tell parents to keep their kids away from open windows in a high rise, the top of a stove, or roach motels. Or marbles.

Just because you don't implement a regulation against something doesn't mean that you advocate it. The regs should be there to protect against hazards that aren't apparent to a person with a third grade education. "Be sure to keep little fingers away from the power mower." Not things that no reasonable person could expect anyone to do. "Don't wear this snow parka when the outdoor temperature exceeds 70 degrees." Or "Don't carry a bowling ball when swimming." Duh!
