Boa Babe: For what it's worth, here is what I have done with QCOM calls recently:
On 07/09 I wrote AUG 70 Calls for 2.10 on two thirds of my IRA account holdings. Today I wrote Sept 75 Calls for 1.95 on the other third. In May I wrote June 75 calls ($1.35)that expired. My non-IRA holdings remain mine, ie, not covered.
I tend to write higher strike calls for less premium then others here. If I am called, I am happy about it.
