re: "More to come" Why? It's not that I don't think Network Appliance isn't a great company, but it seems like everyone is gunning for leadership in the data storage sector these days. My crystal ball sees enormous amounts of $$$ and effort being poured into the sector, both by the incumbent players, and startups. My crystal ball sees a lot of money to be made, but also bloodshed in the future. My crystal ball cannot make out the faces of the fallen soldiers, nor of the victors standing above them. Has Network Appliance received any new patents lately? Has Network Appliance announced any significant new storage management tools lately? Has Network Appliance mentioned how they are going to deal with the new iSCSI standard? They have been very quiet on this matter... Keep those posts comin' Mr. Ball - They're always among the most enjoyable I read here on SI! Best, Steve
