AMD cuts K-6 price to match INTEL's new Pentium MMX price in Aug. 1 Guess this should not suprise anyone here. AMD was not able to lure much box makers before, now AMD has to cut even more to keep competitive with INTEL new price and new competitors such as CYRIX. It seems to me the K6 has missed a big opportunity in notebook market. By the time AMD announce the strategy for notebook, INTEL will have .25 m Pentium in the market already. techweb.com -Henry
