Sex ed is a failure and promotes more problems than it helps through the "educational" process.

What problem has sex education ever "promoted"?

It is important to recognize that every child, everywhere, receives sex education. Some get it from their parents, some from the schools, some from their peers, the media, etc.

I would personally prefer that children receive sex education from their parents. But if parents abdicate that responsibility or if many parents pass on incorrect or incomplete information, we have little choice but to fill the breach with the schools. It is a most imperfect solution, but better than leaving sex education up to movies, trashy novels, and the peer group.
