High prices have everything to do with them. Don't you understand? They can and did and will again turn off the taps. They want complete unrestricted deregulation in the energy business so that together they can control the prices and keep them high. Haven't you seen what they do when you give them too much power? What happened when Bush took power? Go back and research, remember. It was the biggest gouging in history until Jeffords moved stopped it, at least temporarily. But look at this pork barrel giveaway to Big Oil they want, all of which comes out of our general funds. And totally at the expense of the environment no matter what lies they tell you now. Do not defend them and even if you are Republican help make them stop. You will pay financially and the world will pay environmentally for years to come. And a lot of the environmental damage is permanent. All you do by supporting them is make them fatter and fatter and more corrupt.
