Your "my party right or wrong" attitude is becoming increasingly the despised minority view in America today. By letting your party be taken over by these crooks you do us all a diservice. By defending them you show you are not a free thinking person (unless you are in the energy business then I understand). Something certainly stinks in the White House these days. It's the smell of dirty money, secret meetings, pollution industry payoffs, ignoring public will and subpoenas, broken promises, cynical retardation of progress, destruction of natural wonders and putting soft money donors agendas ahead of all of our good, and future generations good. We have to pay for these huge giveaways to the rich and energy cartel. And not just financially. Expect to pay a lot for this first "honeymoon year" of Bush-Cheney when they are trying to get away with lying, cheating, corrupting, stealing our tax break and befouling America all so 30-40 energy CEO "pioneers" of theirs can get awful damn rich fast. The damage to the environment will be permanent. The damage to America's reputation will be hard to reverse. But thank God their rule will also be short-lived if recent polls are any indication. Bet there are millions kicking themselves for voting Bush or Nader last year. Maybe even more than ten million. As I've said before, when the truth comes out this will be the least popular administration ever. Ever. Okay maybe Nixon-Agnew after Watergate might beat them by a hair but there will be very few of you die-hard defenders left. Much damage however will be done. Can you think of one good thing they have done since taking office? Considering their energy gouging cost Americans the same as the entire tax break? Anything good at all? Please tell me something. I'd really like to hear it. Maybe it would cheer me up about these pirates.
