To start things off........ STUPID QUOTE OF THE DAY FROM CNBC "CSFB says earnings growth projections for the semiconductor companies are down 20%." Huh??? Possible interpretations: 1) Semi companies will possibly show a loss of 20% 2) Semiconductor company earnings growth to be 20% less than previous 3) Semi company earnings to be 20% less than previous 4) 20% fewer analysts are willing to make growth projections Idunno, this is beginning to sound like Govtspeak when they discuss the national budget! Something on the order of, "We've slashed the Budget Growth by more than half of what was expected." :-) Best regards, Tom
