Same basis as religion...........better to believe in God because you have nothing to lose while the nonbeliever will be in trouble if there is one You are mistaken. Not a basis reason at all to believe in God. It is an exercise in futility to think that you can save yourself ""just in case"" I love God because HE FIRST LOVED ME. I believe in the Messiah because He is the only Way to the Father.
