Eric: <Mining had fallen a long way since the 30's when a mining engineer was a good job.> My father graduated as an electrical engineer in early 30's and only work he could find was as electrician's helper in mines around Tri-town, Timmins etc. During the pre-Bre-X runnup, when he was still alive, he had us buy some RO just because he had worked there and thought it great that a lady was running it.
