While other's eyes may glaze over and they'll have to re-read that about 6 times, minimally, I certainly learned something new. That Ketone portion was especially fascinating! Speaking of hydroflouric, I get so nervous everytime I hear some newbie with a quartz hosted gold specimen dropping it into hydroflouric to try to make it turn out like some of the specimens in the rock shows. Where DO these people come from?
I also found your discussion on #4, Co precipitation, co dissolutiuon and sequential dissolution of elements in the samples, once acidulated lead to uncertain times for each sample to a complete dissolution. superlatively addressed some questions I had left over from an earlier encounter with AAS result.
