It's worth noting that RSTN has a 16 GigE ring model in conjunction with Luxn's Layer 1 SCM WDM which is related to Centerpoint Broadband's LENS. It's interesting to speculate about the possibility of gearing down SCM to UTP net in emulation of SDM. Does this have the look and feel of Silkroad?
