In fact a lot of companies just had a really good year and that is surprising to me and it should be to most that read this thread.

I was one of the guys who experienced the stealth bear effect of the late 90's, where the index did not represent accurately what was taking place in much of the market. If anything, the trend towards indexing and closet indexing created distortions in the market we could have taken advantage of by recognizing true value.
