Entering into sexual relations with a partner you are trying on for size (going steady with) however, opens the door to the devestating consequences that define the current normative standard. Brees, you keep saying this but you aren't making your case. If a couple, say Dick and Jane, decide to get to know each other better through sex before they get married, how is it that there is any greater risk of STD or any other of your dire consequences than if they had just gone ahead and gotten married? They're the same two people doing exactly the same thing, they're just not married. Karen
