I don't have a statistic but I think you would agree with me that the typical case for the persons in your norm standard is that they have gone steady more than once and probably several times before deciding to commit to one partner in a monogamous relationship. "any greater risk of STD or any other of your dire consequences than if they had just gone ahead and gotten married? Are you kidding? Where do you think STDs come from if not from relationships that involve more than one partner.
