Well I hate to call BS on you neocon, but it is a rare opertunity so I can't pass it up. "I am right that people in the sort of relationship I have in mind are low risk for STDs." You looked up a statistic on premarital sex between people who follow up and get married and found that there is a low risk. This would mean that they likely had not had other partners and puts them in the monogamous category. You also, I presume, looked up the statistic on people who go steady several times before choosing a partner (which is normal)...I think not.
