mtl - Well tomorrow should be fun for shorts. Either the market gets dissapointed in which case down about 100pts or maybe less or it gets pleasantly surprised in which case my guess is that many shorts are going to go straight to panic mode. A nice coming out of the slump rally could cause the mother of all short squeezes. And what fun that would be. We need a short capitulation to clear them out for a few months. If they get nicely burned they won't be back for a bit and the economy may well recover just on the good news generated by the resurging markets. I mean just imagine what happens if the market gets a real head of steam rally behind it. Best regards, L
