'Four bidders fought over the diva's beaded Dolce and Gabbana bra worn during ``The Girlie Tour,'' with the winner paying $23,850, far above the item's pre-sale estimate of $7,000 to $9,000.'

Nice that they're keeping us abreast of the situation, eh.

Fine set of rules of thumb here, Lenny ... often however in the speckie issues i find myself using the middle finger ... much of the classic measures for ongoing businesses don't apply, especially anything related to debt - these development stage productions don't have debt, no one would lend to them, they sell equity when they can, and when they can't they go teaters [in the sense distinct from that of the above article] .... what matters are the tried and true Three Ps of exploration plays - People, Property, and Phinancing - without all three strong, forget it, give it the Rule of the Middle Finger and walk on .... actually i don't think david's dde.v looks so bad on the 3Ps, clearly it has powerful friends who have been financing it [and seem to be supporting the stock as well, just judging from recent action/house positions] .... as to its Property i'm in no position to judge yet, in a case like this one must check out the competition as well as what the company has to offer, which will take time i don't have yet

Three posts starting here - #reply-15869077 - are the earliest writings of John Kaiser i've seen on the net, predates his coining of the term 'bottomfish' even, here he calls them 'longshots' ... excellent approach to assessing the speckies, imho

Yesterday i was several minutes staring at ymc.u bid at .65, fairly sure that sellers would come out and knock it back some, and did not sell a share .... sort of like the old farmer who after listening to the spiel from the ag college grad says 'well, son, thanks but ah don't farm near half as good as i know how already' ... third run could be the charm with Anatolia, if holes 11-14 in the vicinity of CRC-1a show much at all it will remove a lot of suspicion from the zone, which is entirely new and expands Cukurdere immensely ... here's hoping, got mah toes crossed
