After the news came out that the Appeals Court won't reconsider the commingling issue, the stock dropped one point and then recovered somewhat. If distribution of the stock was ongoing, I believe MSFT had the opportunity to drop substantially. It didn't and even rallied into the close. The price is up in after hour trading. The rally in the NASDAQ at the close may be attributed to this Briefing.com note: 15:58 ET Market Action : Heavy buying in the Nasdaq Triple-Qs into the close on talk of a major tech sector upgrade tonight or tomorrow morning.
