I think the 450 million or 350 million number just a transient number and when long term patterns of telecom growth are established we may come back to 900+ miilion per quarter.

My reasons are:
- Telecom will likely be the growth area due to internet being the growth engine in future. Even if US is saturated there must be substantial future revenue streams from abroad.
- We are not sure if 920 M included SDLI revenue, which was to the tune of 175 M in Dec 2000 quarter.
- The whole reasoning behind using P/S valuation is to derive longer term trends and not to value based on short term earnings numbers. Even 6-9 months after the Tech bubble bursted JDSU has recorded these revenue numbers, so they must be attainable on a long term basis.
