I was simply using AVNX because it was a stock that was low in price as compared to MSFT, I wasn't implying that it was one where there was institutional buying. As to institutions soaking up shares, our charts show heavy block selling from 13.5 down to 6.5 and then a flattening out of the money flow. Note though, sellers aren't necessarily owners, nor are buyers necessarily buying to be long. Short covering or buying to go long both reduce the marginal supply. Also once shares reach a certain price point you can't assume that it is institutional buying because you have some heavy hitting traders in those lower priced issues buying what used to be big blocks.

Also, I wonder how frequently the institutional info is up dated and how it is updated. Do you know how accurate it is? Are we looking at institutional ownership from last Q?
