Metricom to shut down network operations, liquidate Thursday August 2, 10:56 pm Eastern Time Metricom to shut down network operations, liquidate SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug 2 (Reuters) - Highspeed wireless data company Metricom Inc (NasdaqNM:MCOMQ - news) said on Thursday it would shut down its Ricochet wireless data network operations in all of its markets on Wednesday and would liquidate the company.
