Yes, I agree Bob that my gata crusade has gone over the top
and is causing others an unpleasant situation, something like
when one uses a public restroom and the person in the stall
next to you loads up too much in the bowl and upon the flush
the drain pipe clogs and the over the top of the bowl like my
posts hits the floor and moves to all areas of the room/thread.
Tom has just posted what can be described as a Period
or Exclamation Point or simple the sound Amen to what
I just said. Lets end this and move on and let the future
tell us in history what the present really is about.

Its quite clear that Tom's reference was towards me, as
"a complete waste of time", "boorish and inhospitable ego"
is also gold_tutor's description of me. What surprised me
was not his reference to me, as I stated upfront above in
this post that he has every reason to view me that way,
but the fact that he uses the name Abner Hosmer which
I understand is the name of a soldier that fought in the war
to free America from England. Not sure the actual reference,
but that "Don't shoot until you see the whites of their eyes."
for sure was a display of courage for the man Abner Hosmer,
just like those men that signed their name to a declaration
so that there was no doubt those of Great Britain would know
by name each such person fighting with their life on the line
for independence, and not hide or just hope others get the
job done so that can tag along if they win, or play a song
and get along with England if they lose. So here I'm surprised,
in that Tom was unable to name me in person in his post,
as why not I'm am surprised, as he hold this Abner Hosmer
as a role model, which is good, but to actually take on this
person's name and not be able to look into the eyes of what
one can say is the person on the other side you disagree with,
then to me its as if one wishes to have the courage of a person
that has what one does not have but wants others to think so.
For sure Vietnam was not an American fight for freedom,
but I did my job and was able to look into the eyes of the enemy,
and actually found it troubling to kill them when I could not see them,
but then fighting in those jungle mountains on search & destroy
missions was not the Boston landscape. But point is a simple
one that if you take the name of someone who has shown those
aspects of standing tall and speaking directly towards those
you speak about, then do so, and if not able to look at those
you talk about in public, then use your own name or one in history
that was not able to look at the eye whites.
Enough of that talk as its pointless and its just more babble
from me that means nothing and does nothing except take up
space on this post as text. The world is made up of many
different type of folks, so live and let live and keep away from
those who you do not think deserve respect. My apology
to this Tom who used the name Abner Hosmer, as this Tom
might well be a war hero that I would respect if I knew so,
but until then its just a name of a person Tom that so far
has not posted anything of interest to my quest to examine
those battles between Good & Evil.
Sorry Bob, as usual I went off elsewhere, and yes I will
supply to you the thread name and post numbers for

we can clean up that toilet over the top stuff and put up a sign
