I think what he means to say is that when we are in a major short covering induced rally like we are seeing now, ESPECIALLY in the semis- nothing matters.. : )

and of course with CNBC and the rest of the media pumping it dosnt hurt..

Not quite sure why anyone would be bullish on an overpriced sector that has virtually escaped the reality check most of the tech sector has felt, and offers the worse possible forward looking scenarios. This is one major reason I dont follow tea leaves.. because to ignore fundamentals like the semi sector really is like playing with fire..

and of course, keep in mind that this post is from a guy who is short the semis and about to cover at a loss if Jerry is right.. but I still believe its that huge short interest thats being used up which everyone keeps reminding me is at record levels.. How much of that was depleted in the last few days?
