EMC says they're ...

I think most of it has to do with the incompitent institutional investors. They seem to be following Laura Conglario. And Laura is nothing more than an EMC analyst. She appears to believe everything EMC tells her and she passes it on as law. Did you notice earlier this week, the big institutional buying stopped dead with her announcement? NTAP is just going to have to prove itself.
Also... EMC seems to think it can win with a PR campaign. They keep talking and talking. They still have no NAS/SAN divergent solution...only talking about it. Meanwhile NTAP has much more than that. I think the customers will have to decide this for us. With the economy bad, that is better for NTAP. EMC will have to give things away at a loss to try to compete with NTAP...so let them loose all they want. I think, in the end, Laura Conglario will look like a fool.
