Amazing Bush is now taking 30 days off from work at his ranch. "The heartland" he keeps calling it repeatedly. Trying to sound like a Chevy Truck commercial. Well if people are fooled now by that kind of spin doctoring image-making they won't be for long. While Bush slacks expect his opposition to be working hard to mount serious well-deserved attacks. It's going to be a battle royal from this fall until next for the hearts and minds of the swing-voters and for control of the Congress.

What we have in Bush-Cheney is an arrogant duo who think they can get away with anything if their spin doctors work hard enough to BS the public, they can buy enough moderate votes with their soft money and enough is raised to overwhelm us all with massive targeted disinformation campaigns from their labyrinthine array of PACS and PACS of PACS. They've succeeded so far in shelving campaign finance reform, making congressional compromises look like victories and ramming through their mountain-of-pork-for-cronies-at-the-expense-of-the-environment energy bill. But they still have to tangle with the Senate, more exposure as damaging facts come out in the media and finally US public opinion which is going against them no matter how much their spend on their deflective propaganda machine.
