The tech. to be used is new and suspect, and may well result in the leaching of oil into the soil and water. Do you have any infromation to back up the claim that the equipment is unsafe for the environment? Our neighbor and ally, Canada, is opposed to the drilling. A significant % of the things that the US does are opposed by one ally or another at some point. **The ANWR's beauty and 'look' is unique. The drilling would take place on a few thousand acres out of an area that is close to 20 million acres. The area under consideration for drilling is not particuarly beautiful or unique. Tim
