You are correct $3000 per year until offset by gains, used up, or in my case, die as I have more losses than I can use unless I set a new record for living a long time

Hey don't sweat it...I talked to a friend of mine the other day...he was telling me about his daytrading friend who is down $3,000,000 this year...ye-ouch!!! I hope this isn't you.
