Rich, the cycle guy keeps moving his days back. How long is he going to do this? He has no choice if his model is consistently wrong. Can't change the facts so you have to change the model. Talking about cycles in an aimless sideways summer market with most of the big money on the sidelines is.....well, it amuses some people but I don't see the point. A running tally of predictions the past few months would produce results lower than a major league batting title. And well under just flipping a coin. Markets are drifting...economic news is mixed...lots of cash on the sidelines...it's not predictable, no matter how many tea leaves you stick in the picture. Just like to point that out from time to time as the frustration and confusion level here rises. Most SI commentators have decided where they think the markets SHOULD go and they arrange their "evidence" accordingly. It's useless as a scientific method. Those trying to use objective models just get whipsawed over and over. That's a more or less "objective" conclusion drawn from the last few thousand messages here.
