Yesterday I read Deutsche Bank comments on metals. They were commenting on US Geological Survey leading metals indicators. In particular they pointed out that in May their indicators for copper rose 2.1% in aggregate, the largest move since 1992. These indicators move ahead about 6 months before the metal price really starts to move. Here is the URL to the USGS report. It's a PDF file
