I didn't dig into that particular example very deeply, just commenting on the general pattern I see here with predictions, cycles, waves, etc. People immerse themselves in trivia over a daily high or low and miss the big picture - the market is rangebound.

I read here many, many times that the Naz would be down hard, down hard, down hard, down hard last week. Oops.

It's a sideways market that will break out to the upside or downside eventually. But sifting through the hundreds if not thousands of predictions about how and when on SI is not very fruitful.

Everyone is free to follow any expert they like. If someone can find one with a documented success record much over 50%, I would love to see the summary of their calls and results, not just the occasional wow he got it right for once citations that are more common.
