**Slightly OT**

Patron,

You are, of course, correct. Stocks and houses are different. Could be worth a shot if you not dead set on buying that house.

On the seller's side, we (the buyers) were the victim of an unintentional strategy on the part of the sellers. We found a house we wanted to buy and made a pretty good offer to the the seller. The seller counter offered, but their real estate agent dropped the ball and did not get around to giving the counter offer back to our agent. To us, it appeared the seller was "ignoring" our offer. We really wanted this house and it made us feel REAL uncomfortable. We thought maybe another buyer had come into the picture and were possibly thinking of making another better offer. As I said, it turned out their agent was an airhead and just neglected getting the counter-offer back to us.

Good be a good strategy if you're a seller though.

Mark
